There is a track day this Sunday, May 16th. 8am – 3pm. Sandia Raceway. See smri-racing.org for more info. There are 3 groups (beginner, intermediate, and expert) It’s very easy to get started and not intimidating at all . There will be tons of experienced guys who are all very easy to talk to and willing to help out, show you the lines, explain technique.
If you haven’t experienced the track, it’s the coolest thing you can do on your bike. It’s also a very safe controlled environment. And best of all: NO COPS… NO CARS… NO GUARD RAILS.
